- Workplace injury management and workers compensation in NSW
Details:
This course is aimed at all new workers carrying out construction work:
- Self-employed persons
- Labourers
- Apprentices
- Trainees
- Trades-persons
- Supervisors and project managers
This course provides participants with:
- Basic principles of health and safety in the construction industry in NSW
- Information about preventing workplace injury and illness, workplace injury management and workers compensation in NSW
Please Note:
From November 2017, SafeWork NSW introduced new evidence of identity (EOI) requirements for participants attending the "Prepare To Work Safely In The Constructon Industry" (White Card).
After successful completion participants will receive Nationally Recognised SafeWork NSW Certificates.
Duration:
- The course is run for 7 hours over the course of 1 day.
- Arrive 30 minutes earlier to complete necessary paperwork.
- Please leave 30 minutes afer class for assessment marking.
