This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
The course applies to all persons who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
- Respond to an emergency situation
- Apply appropriate first aid procedures
- Communicate details of the incident
- Review the incident
Training Course Outcomes:
After successful completion participants will receive Nationally Recognized Certificates
Duration:
- This course is run over a single day
- 8am registration (mandatory)
- Course runs from 830am to 445pm
- Please allow time at the end of the day for assessment marking if you want to receive your certificate on the day.
For Students:
All students MUST complete the pre-study workbook before attending the face-to-face class.To submit COMPLETED "Pre-class Student Workbook" please do ONE of the following:

Requirements:
Must have:
- One form of Photogenic ID
- USI (Unique Student Identifier). Create/recover at https://www.usi.gov.au/.

- Provide First aid HLTAID011 $150 per person
- Minimum 10 people
